Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
2 Phatmassers in the same room and meet for the first time. When I was visting my community (Sisters Servants), they took me to visit the Shrine and EWTN. Well, while I was at the Shrine, I kept seeing a OLAM Postulant, I prayed to see or meet Sr. Lauren who I knew she before she entered OLAM. Well, when I left the chapel, the postulant walking in was HER!!!!! So we took a photo to show her dad and everyone else from phatmass. I wonder if Sister Lauren  knows we are going to be neighbors!?!?!?!?

I was so amazed and shocked it happened but I was really glad i "ran" into her. She would have walked past me unless i asked her if she was Sr Lauren. I knew it right away but I wanted to make sure.

Actually.....We do a couple songs where we have to do hand motions and dancing, kind of. More like just moving feet and hands in circular or up and down patterns! (Well, I guess if worst comes to worst I could always teach ballroom dance. Hehe! That would be a joke...trying to teach the 3rd graders the quickstep! HA!!)

And...I have to teach all this week!!! If I run out of ideas who knows....

Oh...today went well!!! I'm only tired, exhausted and can't believe I have to endure 4 more days of teaching 200 kids!!! (not all at once, mind you!!!!! They're split up into grades!!! Thank the Lord!!!)

Well, anyway...I have to go. **HUGS AND PRAYERS**

I taught first grade last yr and we did some dances which they loved tons!!!! At the end of the yr the 8th grade confirmation canidates and my first grade class of about 20 kids went for a dance off. We're doing songs like...Jesus loves me...Hallalu...Love is ...Only a boy named David...Joshua....Alive alive... the B-I-B-L-E...Father Abraham! :-)
Yeah just basic kids bible songs. They're getting them down pretty well. Unfortunatly my pianist isn't going to be there tomorrow, so I have to end up playing and I got someone else to do handmotions with the kids... so this could get interesting.
I think tomorrow is going to be a little hectic. I'll keep ya posted!!! (Yeah...If they have trouble with the motions to Jesus loves me I think that the quickstep might be a little hard, much less the cha-cha or the Rumba!!!!) Thanks for the prayers I need em!!!!

great song choice!!! i can imagine what tomorrow is going to be like and of course how interesting it's going to be! lol!!!!

However ballroom dance will be just abit challenging for them let alone me......LOL!!!!!!!! BUT.....if I can learn the movements to "Do it To It" and get it right, I could do ballroom, it might be easier too!!!! LOL!!!

Have a great time teaching those kids.....I miss mine right now!!!! **tears**

OK That wasn't so bad!!!! I survived!!! Hehehehe!!!! LOL!! Teaching really wears you out though!!! (However...I still enjoy teaching VERY much!) Playing and teaching at the same time was kind of interesting...and I hit a bunch of notes that weren't supposed to be there, but all in all it was fun! and the kids enjoyed it like always! It FINALLY stoped raining! I think it's suposed to rain tomorrow but then it's supposed (all fingers crossed!!!!:-)) to stop raining for this weekend. I'm going camping with my family for the weekend...So NO internet access!!! :-( But I will get "quality" time with family and friends!!! :-)
Speaking of rain...It's the only night that it hasn't rained in like 5 days...and my horse trainer forgets about the appointment. RRRrrrrrr! I guess I'll have to pray it doesn't rain and rescheduale!!! Oy!!!
Ok I THINK I'm finished rambling!!! Hahahha!!!! :-)

Hi Sixtina 87,

A belated Happy Birthday. I loved the pics of your Summer activities. You have certainly had a lovely time before you enter the Sister Servants next month. I do hope that you will be very happy in your new life as a Sister but like everyone else, I will miss your posts on the various sites.
May God Bless and keep you,
Jennifer
